Flavors continue onto the palate with the addition of mixed dried herbs characteristics—oregano and tarragon notes. Soft, lush tannings finish off this medium to full bodied expression of Cabernet Franc with fresh acidity.
Production Notes
The fruit spent 19 days in contact with skins using the punchdown method to extract color and tannins. The blend is comprised of 89% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Teroldego fermented and aged separately and blended before bottling. The wine was aged for 15 months in medium plus toast Hungarian Oak.
